Monday & Friday
We travel to and from our chosen destination.
Tuesday to Thursday
Free time to explore with the following included excursions.
Lindisfarne & Bamburgh (Full Day)
Twice daily, a long narrow neck of land sinks under the North Sea tide for five hours, separating Lindisfarne or Holy Island from the coast. It is possible to visit the island via the causeway at low tide. The idyllic country village of Bamburgh is set in one of the most breathtakingly picturesque coastal regions the country has to offer, with a spectacular castle standing 150 feet above the sea.
Scottish Borders & Northumberland National Park (Full Day)
Our tour will begin with a visit to the twin villages of Fords and Etal, situated on a rural estate where much of the local heritage has been preserved. We then cross the border into Coldstream, home of the Coldstream Guards, before continuing along the Tweed Valley to the attractive Georgian town of Kelso. Our final part of the day takes us across the Cheviot Hills back into England before we visit Otterburn Mills.
